PURPOSE:To perform fine adjustment easily when the degree of control is to be adjusted by the rotation of a rotary pulse switch, by reducing the degree of control per pulse at the 2nd adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The volume of a radio is controlled by a rotary pulse switch. At first, coarse adjustment is performed by rotating said rotary pulse switch 10. Then, the switch 10 is rotated again for adjusting the volume again. A pulse generated from the rotary pulse switch is inputted to a counter (h). The counter (h) acts as unitary through quaternary counters on a basis of values corresponding to the sound volume stored in a storage circuit 20. When the sound volume is close to the maximum value, the counter (h) acts as a quaternary counter, which can perform fine adjustment. In the sound volume close to the minimum value, the counter acts as a unitary counter, which can quickly adjust the volume to the suitable one. |
