<p>Certain problems are inherent in conventional tables, such as lack of space for ashtrays so that cigarette smoke is conveniently expelled, lack of space for other objects, restricted leg space, difficulty in cleaning due to the feet of the table, etc. The invention proposes a table combination which can be separated into two individual functional elements. A mounting device on the ceiling and/or side wall of a room and a guided mounting system enable the table combination to be adjusted vertically, so providing unrestricted leg space. The table mounting and upper table panel are hollow and equipped with an air extraction system. The table combination and its individual components can be enlarged or made smaller. Owing to its flexible height and size, integrated air extraction system and individual configuration possibilities (shape, colour, material, built-in lighting, music and TV unit), the table combination can be used in households, workplaces and the hotel and catering industry.</p> |
