PURPOSE:To control the carring speed automatically and accurately by mixing continuously a developer, a coupler, and a titrant and carrying a film in a speed proportional to the flow rate of a titrant supply pump so that the detected value of light absorbance of this mixed liquid equal to a light absorbance set value preliminarily set. CONSTITUTION:A two-liquid mixing part 15a, where a certain quantity of a developer fed by a developer supply pump P1 and a certain quantity of a coupler fed by a coupler supply pump P2 are mixed, and a three-liquid mixing part 15 where a titrant is mixed with the two-liquid mixture are provided. If pH of the three-liquid mixture is lowered and the light absorbance is increased in accordance with film development processings, a control part 11 reduces the flow rate of a titrant supply pump P3 by a light receiving signal S1 from an absorbance photometer 16 until the light absorbance becomes the initial set value again, and a carrying motor M is rotated in a speed proportional to the controlled flow rate of the titrant supply pump P3. Consequently, the film carrying speed is controlled to a speed proportional to the alkali concentration of the developer. |
