PURPOSE: To provide graphic processing method and device capable of reducing operation frequency at the time of deforming a bit map so as to extend it in the horizontal or vertical direction based upon a lequired row or column. CONSTITUTION: An edition reference point in an edition area displayed on a screen is specified by a keyboard or a pointing device (S201) and an edition end point is similarly specified (S202). Then an area to be moved and a moving destination are respectively specified based upon the specified edition reference point and the edition end point (S203) and an area to be copied and a copied destination are similarly specified based upon the edition reference point and the edition end point (S204). Then the specified area to be moved is moved in accordance with a reference point for the area to be moved and a reference point for the moved destination (S205) and the area to be copied is similarly copied in accordance with both the reference points. |
