PURPOSE:To perform multiple transfer speedily regardless of the size of transfer paper and reduce the heating value of heat fixation by providing >=1 developing device, a photosensitive body, a fixing device which has a preliminary part and a main fixing part, etc., and eliminating the need for a transfer drum. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper 45 taken out of a tray is stopped temporarily with the nip part of a register roll 44, an electrostatic latent image of an original image on the photosensitive body 10 is developed by the developing device 51, transferred to the transfer 45 conveyed cynchronously and fixed preliminarily between pressure rolls 21 and 22, and the paper is stored in a tray 33 in order. When the 2nd transfer process of a polychromatic image is performed, the paper is passed through a skew correcting roll 41, development is carried by a developing device 52, and complete fixation is carried out by pressure rolls 20 and 21 after final transfer, obtaining a desired color copy stored in a tray 57. Therefore, the need for a transfer drum is eliminated and direct transfer is performed by the photosensitive body 10, so the copy speed does not decreases even when the size of the transfer paper is small; and excessive heating value is not necessary because the preliminary fixation is performed, drying shrinkage is small, and image deviation is corrected easily. |
