PURPOSE:To form a movie film which is excellent in picture quality, by record ing th1st image and 2nd image formed from a series of images given by means of video signals on an optical film by double exposure. CONSTITUTION:Each image information B and C is prepared by making image information of adjacent two field quantities to correspond to one frame under a condition where field images are omitted at every five field cycle about a series image information A given by means of video signals. Moreover, the 2nd image information C is shifted from the 1st image information B by one frame quantity. Since one frame of image is formed with image information of different four field quantities when the image information is recorded on an optical film by double exposure, the S/N ratio is improved and an after image effect is given. Accordingly, the intermittent movement of picture peculiar to movies can be made to natural one.
