PURPOSE:To compensate unevenness on a deck face and stabilize a sealing effect by folding back the end edge on the combustion chamber hole side of a sub-plate laminated on a base plate toward said base plate side forming a fold-back space and including the end edge on the combustion chamber hole side of said base plate, while filling a seal member having elasticity, in said fold-back space. CONSTITUTION:In a compensating part 16 formed on the peripheral edge of a combustion chamber hole 8, a fold-back space is formed by folding back the end edge on the combustion chamber hole side of a sub-plate 6 which is laminated on a base plate 4, and the end edge on the combustion chamber hole side of the base plate is contained, while a seal member 14 having elasticity is filled, in the fold-back space. Thereby, leakage out of the fold-back space can be prevented, unevenness on a deck face around a combustion chamber which is formed at the time of clamping can be compensated, the entrance of combustion gas from a large deck face gap around the combustion chamber can be prevented, and an alternate load which acts on a bead 12 can be lowered. Also, the high pressure deformation of the fold-back part of the sub-plate and the thrusting contact of the end edge on the combustion chamber hole side of the base plate with the innermost part of the fold-back part of the sub-plate at the time of clamping can be prevented.
