PURPOSE:To obtain a skin cosmetic having inhibitory action on dandruff and itch, remedying effects on parasitic diseases of skin and preventing effects on scabics, serpigo, favus, etc., by using both piroctone olamine and water-soluble sulfur or an ultraviolet light absorber. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic obtained by blending a hair cosmetic base with (A) piroctone olamine [1-hydroxy-4-methyl-6-(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)-2-(1H) pyridon-emonoethanolamine salt] and (B) water-soluble sulfur or (C) an ultraviolet light absorber. The blending ratio, for example, is 0.1-0.75wt.% component A, 0.1-5wt.% component B and 0.1-10wt.% component C in the case of shampoo. The hair cosmetic prevents dandruff and itch without damaging skin, softens keratinized epidermal tissue, makes the tissue releasable state, shows remedying effects on the above-mentioned effects such as athlete's foot, caused by microorganisms propagating or living in keratin and has excellent effects such as protection of skin from ultraviolet rays, which are not found in existing cosmetics. |
