<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic card capable of appreciating the feel of natural wood by laminating veneer to at least the single surface of a magnetic card body becoming a magnetic memory element through an adhesive. CONSTITUTION: Veneer 2 is laminated to the single surface of a magnetic card body 1 becoming a magnetic memory element through an adhesive 3. The veneer 2 is obtained by slicing material wood of a hinoki or a cedar and immersing the slice wood, for example, in a chlorine type bleaching agent and drying the treated wood. Immersion treatment is executed in order to remove bacteria present on or in the veneer 2 obtained by slicing material wood and to prevent the formation of irregular patterns caused by the generation of fungi or the like. The concn. of the bleaching agent is pref. set to about 2%. The thickness of the veneer is 0.2-0.5μm, pref., about 0.3-0.4μm. Since the veneer is laminated to at least the single surface of the magnetic card body becoming the magnetic memory element through the adhesive, the touch of natural wood is provided to a user.</p> |
