PURPOSE:To dispence with a necessity for widening the dia. of a compression spring or caulking same so as to facilitate assembling by making large the dia. size of the base of a compression spring of a spring assembly used for an automatic transmission, and inserting this base into a mounting cylinder part of a cover body as a slipping-off preventing means. CONSTITUTION:A spring assembly is composed of an annular cover body 1, a base 3 fixed to the rear face of this cover body 1, and a compression spring 2 mounted between them. This spring 2 is composed of a coil part 21, a base 22 continuously provided on the base end of a coil part 21. This base 22 is wound so as to have a large dia. rather than the coil member 21. |
