Process for bonding adhesive-repellent plastic surfaces by means of an adhesive

It has hitherto not been possible to bond adhesive-repellent plastic surfaces, for example films made from such plastics, directly to one another. The novel process is intended to enable even adhesive-repellent plastic surfaces to be bonded to one another. The novel process is divided in one of a number of variants into the following process steps: (a) the surfaces to be bonded to one another in pairs are slightly melted by the action of heat, (b) an adhesive is applied to at least one of the surfaces prepared in this way, and (c) the two plastic surfaces are pressed onto one another. In this way, adhesive-repellent plastics can be bonded to one another without problems and without special chemical pretreatment.
