PURPOSE:To provide a relatively inexpensive highly corrosion-resistant magnesia brick capable of stabilizing operations at high temperatures, of prolonging the period of the operations, and of contributing to the improvement in the production yield of glass. CONSTITUTION:The magnesia brick comprises at least 30wt.% of high density magnesia clinkers having a MgO content of >=97wt.%, a Cr2O3 content of 0.1-0.5wt.%, a CaO content of 0.8-2.0wt.%, a SiO2 content of 0.1-0.4wt.% and a bulk density of >=3.43, and containing a MgO composition in an amount of >=90wt.%. |
