PURPOSE:To provide a lubricant oil for limited slip differential (LSD) in motor cars causing no chattering, when the differential works, and showing reduced abrasion of the friction metal plate and excellent stability to oxidation. CONSTITUTION:The lubricant composition for LSD is prepared by adding a phosphoric ester amine salt such as an oleyl acid phosphate amine salt and a boron non-ash dispersant such as a reaction product of polybutenylsuccinic imide with boric acid to the base oil so that the weight ratio of the nitrogen content (N) to the phosphorus content (P) is more than 0.5 (N/P) and the weight ratio of the nitrogen content (N) to the boron content (B) is 4 to 10 (N/B). |
