PURPOSE: To provide an ink jet apparatus becoming same in ink emitting timing even when an applying time is different at every nozzle. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet apparatus is. constituted of electrodes la, 1b, 1c, 1d and electrode drive devices 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d supplying a current to conductive ink through the electrodes la, 1b, 1c, 1d and an application start period control device 20 controlling application start periods so that the completion periods of the applying times of the output voltages from the electrode driving devices 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d coincide with each other is provided. Therefore, the generation period of a boiling air bubble becomes same with respect to all of nozzles 2a, 2b and the reaching shift of conductive ink to recording paper is eliminated and high printing quality can be ensured. |
