PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device which allows easy installation of an inflator. CONSTITUTION: A hole 5 for insertion of an inflator 2 is provided in one of the opposing side walls, 4, of an air bag case 1 having an approx. U-section, and a fit hole 7 in non-circular shape is formed in the other side wall 6. The inflator 2 is fitted at one side end with a shank of a pin 12 having a head capable of being inserted through the fit hole 7. The inflator 2 is inserted through the insert hole 5, and the mounting pin 12 is threaded through the fit hole 7. and the inflator 2 is turned for a certain angle after the head of the pin 12 passes the fit hole 7 and is mounted to the air bag case 1. |
