The invention relates to a method by which the difficultiesin cooling of the reactors caused by the molybdenum emission areavoided. After the treatment the catalysts have a longer life andgreater general effectivity. By the method the addition ofmolybdenum catalysts to the basic catalyst which has lowmolybdenum content, is effected by mixing of basic and additionalcatalyst having such differences in the sublimation coefficientsthat the summated molybdenum emission should not exceed thecritical catalytic concentration of 5 to 10 mg/N.m3 of molybdenumin the reactor gases for a given reactor system.2 claims |
