PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional HMBC(heteronuclear multiple band correlation) method in which a spin development time constant is used as a time variable parameter. SOLUTION: Pulses at 90 to 180 deg. are applied to a<1> H nucleus, a prescribed time▵1 is delayed since the application of the pulses at 90 deg. to the<1> H nucleus, and pulses at 90 to 90 to 90 deg. are applied to a<13> C nucleus. Then, the<1> H nucleus is observed for a detecting time t3 , a second development time t2 is set between second pulses at 90 deg. and third pulses at 90 deg. with reference to the<13> C nucleus during a period in which a first development time t1 is between the first pulses at 90 deg. and the second pulses at 90 deg. with reference to the<13> C nucleus, and a pulse sequence in which the pulses at 180 deg. are applied to the<1> H nucleus is used at a point of time of half the development time t2 .
