The invention relates to an arrangement for the automatic adjustment of working height in various devices intended for growing and cultivation. It comprises a body 1 with attached tools 2, the height of which in relation to the surface of the soil has to be regulated, support wheels 4 attached in line with the body 1 for the purpose of moving the device, and drive members 5-8 for adjustment of the height of the body 1 in relation to the in-line support wheels 4, in order with the aid of these to regulate the working height of the tools 2. The arrangement according to the invention comprises a sensing wheel 11 in line with the body 1, which has been set to a desired height in relation to the body 1 so that when the tools 2 are positioned at the set working height, the sensing wheel 11 is essentially stationary, and that when the tools fall below their set working height the sensing wheel 11 is designed to come into contact with the ground so that it begins to rotate in the direction of travel, which rotation may be transmitted to the said drive members 5-8 in order to raise the body in relation to the support wheels 4 until the set working height is again reached. <IMAGE> |
