PURPOSE: The service system for offering a genome map and generic information is provided to manage the generic information of a family, to use immediately when the information is necessary, and to utilize the result of a new genetics research, by systematically storing the information as the unit of a family or a pedigree. CONSTITUTION: A server system(500), supplying the genome map and the generic information, is connected to clients(100),(200),(300) and a gene bank(400) via a network like the internet. The server system(500) includes a server(600) for providing service to the clients(100),(200),(300), and a database system(700) for storing and managing the information according to the construction of the pedigree, the information being collected and analyzed in the server(600). The clients(100),(200),(300) are comprised of personal computers, and provide basic personal information and a gene sample to the server system(500). The gene bank(400) analyzes the gene sample like blood and hair from a client in order to analyze the genome of each person, and then prepares a genome map for each person, which is transmitted to the server system(500). |
