PURPOSE:To produce an oxide raw material for Ni-Zn ferrite magnetic powder having fine particle size, uniform shape and composition and high crystallinity while suppressing the formation of impurities. CONSTITUTION:An acidic aqueous solution containing Fe<2+>, Ni<2+>, Cu<2+> and Zn<2+> and containing at least one of the Ni<2+>, Cu<2+> and Zn<2+> in an amount smaller than the total amount necessary for the objective composition is mixed with an alkaline aqueous solution. An oxidizing gas is blown in the mixed solution under agitation to form fine particles. The oxidized mixed solution is incorporated with an alkaline aqueous solution containing the remaining part of Ni<2+>, Cu<2+> and Zn<2+> to get the above total amounts. |
