PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle valve which can realize miniaturization, a superior sealing property, and superior durability and can safely use for a long period by realizing easiness of assembly and is economically superior. SOLUTION: In the needle valve, a valve seat 6 is arranged on a valve chamber 4 in a valve body 1 having an inlet 2 and outlet 3, a flow rate is controled by means of the valve seat 6 and a needle 7. An O-ring 11 is fitted on a shaft 8 arranged on the needle 7, and a cylindrical body 13 and retaining body 14 are fitted on the shaft 8 while the O-ring 11 is sandwiched between the cylindrical body and retaining body. A projecting section (or a fitting groove) 13a is formed on the cylindrical body 13, and a fitting groove (or a projecting section) 14a is also formed on the retaining body 14. In the needle valve, a mounting groove 12 is formed by fitting the projecting section (or the fitting groove) 13a and fitting groove (or the projecting section) 14a, and the O-ring 11 is mounted on the mounting groove 12.
