PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts constructing a cleaner case in an air cleaner forming a plurality of non-purification chambers expanding introduced outside air one-by-one and step-by-step and purification chambers with a cleaner element interposed between the downstream end non-purification chamber and itself in the cleaner case. SOLUTION: This air cleaner has the cleaner case 107A making a first and a second case members 108A, 109A retain a cleaner element 113, and is formed by joining the first case member 108A and the second case member 109A with an element holder 110A partitioning and forming non-purification chamber 114, 15 and purification chamber 110A held therebetween.
