PURPOSE: To provide the character processor which simplifies editing operation for address data by allowing a collective list of address data or an alphabetical list to display according to a choice. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 12 displays the collective list of the address data in an address book memory 15 in the registration order on a display unit 19 when a batch list display mode is specified on a keyboard 11 or the alphabetical list of the address data in the address book memory 15 on the display unit 19 when an alphabetical list display mode is specified on the keyboard 11. |
