FIELD: production of detergent compositions. SUBSTANCE: anhydrous sodium carbonate with pore volume at least 0.29 ml/g is brought in contact with 50-75% hydrogen peroxide in presence of 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1- diphosphonic acid while evaporating water with a velocity sufficient to maintain reaction mixture in dry state. To avoid wetting particles, product is spray-covered with sodium borosilicate. Coated sodium carbonate perhydrate contains 10.5-14 wt % active oxygen, is stable in phosphate-free detergent composition, and has volume density 900-1050 kg/cu.m.
