PURPOSE: To provide a denitrification method for exhaust gas capable of easily controlling high accurate denitrification ratio. CONSTITUTION: In the denitrification method for exhaust gas, an oxidizing agent (O3 , H2 O2 , HNO3 , etc.,) and NH3 are injected into the exhaust gas containing NO as the majority of NOx to convert a part of the NO into NO2 and this exhaust gas is brought into contact with a denitrification catalyst 3 and the NOx in the exhaust gas is reduced and removed. A necessary NH3 injection quantity is calculated with a computer 14, based on exhaust gas flow rate information 13 and NOx concentration information 12 in the exhaust gas to be linked with the injection quantities of the NH3 and the oxidizing agent, and the quantities are controlled in a prescribed ratio. |
