The present invention provides a method of preparing a tungsten oxide particulate and the tungsten oxide particulate prepared by using the method comprising: a step of preparing a tungstic acid (H_2WO_4) while controlling a mixture of a tungsten concentrate and an inorganic acid at a range under pH 4; and a step of performing a heat treatment to the prepared tungstic acid (H_2WO_4) at 350-650 C. By using the present invention, a uniform tungsten oxide particulate with high purity and a small particle size can be prepared, such that the tungsten oxide particulate can be used in various fields.
