The purpose of the present invention is to provide a safe locking apparatus for a four-post type lift, which improves safety by preventing a sudden drop of boarding trays when a wire is expanded or cut, and durability by reducing an impact load applied to a locking bar. More specifically, the four-post type lift comprises: four pillars (1) on which latching grooves (3) are formed; a pair of boarding trays (4) installed between the pillars (1); a pair of horizontal bars (5) which connect the boarding trays (4); brackets (6) arranged on end parts of the horizontal bars (5); and a wire (8) whose one end part is connected to upper parts of each of the pillars (1), and the other end part is connected to a cylinder. In addition, the safe locking apparatus for a four-post type lift, which is installed on the brackets (6) to prevent a sudden drop of the boarding trays (4), comprises: a sudden drop preventing member (10) including a roller mounting part (11) whose base end is coupled to the bracket (6) by a rotary shaft (15a), wherein a roller is mounted on a front end, a locking bar (14) oppositely extended with respect to the rotary shaft (15a) to be inserted into the latching groove (3), and eccentric segments (12a, 12b) protruding from the base end of the roller mounting part (11) to be eccentric at the rotary shaft (15a); and an elastic body which elastically pressurizes the roller mounting part (11) for pressurization of the wire (8) by the roller (21) toward a pulley (7). |
