1276225 Exhaustion dyeing from organic media FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER AG 26 June 1970 [28 June 1969] 31139/70 Heading D1B Synthetic fibre materials e.g. polyesters, polyamides, polyurethanes, polyacrylonitrile and cellulose tri- and 2¢-acetates are dyed by an exhaustion process using disperse dyestuffs having carboxyl groups e.g. 1-4 in an organic water-immiscible solvent which is an organic liquid of boiling point 40-170‹C normally used as a solvent but which does not dissolve the dyestuff, preferably tri- or tetrachloroethylene or 1, 1, 1-trichloroethane there optionally being up to 1% by weight of water present referred to the weight of the organic solvent. Mono-dis-azo, anthraquinone, nitro, di-or triphenylmethane dyes may be used. |
