ROUTE SET-UP METHOD AND SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide a route set-up method and system which enable an operator to input routes with easy operation, automatically assort delivery matter in accordance with the inputted information and output the information. CONSTITUTION: The map images stored in the memory 12 of a pen input computer 10 are displayed on a display 14. The operator assigns the desired regions (houses) to visit or deliver by means of an input pen 16. The computer is inputted with the information (addresses) specifying the desired regions, executes processing to put sequence on the desired regions displayed on the display and determines the routes to visit or deliver. A classifying machine 20 is connected to the pen input computer 10 which recognizes the delivery addresses of the delivery matter supplied from a supply device 22. The classification of the delivery matter is executed according to the sequence information from the pen input computer 10.
