PURPOSE: To enable a user to easily recognize that images are formed on both surfaces of paper outputted from an image forming device in a double-sided mode when they are formed on both surfaces by adding information on the double-sided mode to the paper using a different color from image color when the double-sided mode is selected. CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of an image input part 1, an image processing part 2, an image output part 3, a system control part 4, an image storage part 5 and an operation part 6. When the double-sided mode is selected, the information related on the mode is read out from a character generator 52, converted to the different color from the image color read by the input part 1 and added to the paper. In such a case, since the color of the information related on the double-sided mode can be optionally set, the color can be set to the color being easy to be recognized by the user. Besides, since it can be set whether the information related on the double-sided mode is added to the paper or not, it is convenient when the paper obtained by copying only the images of both surfaces of an original is required. |
