<p>PURPOSE: To perform the access of plural terminals and an ISDN network by an ISDN terminal adapter device by having a connection control part controlling the connection status of the line of a terminal and the connection status of the channel of the ISDN network. CONSTITUTION: When the sum total of terminal line speed is larger than the sum total of an already established ISDN channel, a connection status control part 14 instructs an ISDN network 30 to establish a new ISDN channel in an I interface part 15. The line of a non-ISDN terminal 20 is connected with the established ISDN channel and a message of 'completion of line open' is transmitted to the terminal 20. At this time, when the sum total of terminal line speed is the sum total of the already established ISDN channel speed or below, a control part 14 connects the terminal 20 with the ISDN channel. Based on the mapping information obtained in a packet multiplexing part 13, packet data is transmitted to the network 30, and the transmission/reception of packet data is performed between the terminal 20 and the network 30.</p> |
