<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently execute operation by enabling a door-to-door delivery service man to previously know whether a customer is at home or not. CONSTITUTION: This door-to-door delivery service supporting device is provided with a command input means 101, a vehicle position input means 103 for inputting the current position of a vehicle, a map information recording means 102 for recording the map information of a delivery area, and a customer information recording means 104 for recording the addresses and telephone numbers of destinations to be delivered. The device is also provided with a telephone communication means 105 for automatically calling a customer based on customer information, a response judging means 106 for judging whether the customer is at home or not based on a response from the customer. Furthermore, a delivery scheduling means 107 for planning a delivery route to the customer whose presence is judged by the means 106, and a display means 108 for displaying the input contents and processed result of a command or the like. Since a case that the absence of a customer is unknown until arrival at the customer's house can be previously prevented, the efficiency of work can be improved.</p> |
