METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLOCKED SHOES WITHOUT WATER LEAKAGE FROM REAR PART OF COUNTER

PURPOSE:To manufacture flocked shoes without water leakage from the rear vamp part by applying an unvulcanized flocked rubber sheet to the surface of a lining and sawing a vamp material at the rear end to constitute flocked shoes. CONSTITUTION:A flocked 1b unvulcanized rubber sheet is previously applied to the outer surface of a lining 1a. Butt surfaces 1c of a vamp material 1 cut into an approximately U-shaped predetermined form are sewn in zigzags 1d after a natural rubber adhesive is applied thereto to provide the rear part of a vamp while the butt surfaces 1c, 1c are butting against each other, and a bottom 3 is sewn on the outer surface 3a of the butt part by a flat sewing machine 3a. A vulcanized type rubber system adhesive 4 is applied to include these sewn portions and penetrate from the inside of the vamp material 1 into the lining 1a. A counter material having the adhesion applied to the outer surface is bonded to the inside of the vamp material 1 including the portion to which the adhesive 4 is applied to complete the vamp which is hung into a shoe metal mold and to which the sole is applied to form the shoe configuration and then vulcanized in the usual way.
