PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and durability by forming a photosensitive layer containing a specified hydrazone compound. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer contains at least one of the hydrazone compounds represented by formula I in which X is aryl, aralkyl, or trialkylsillyl; R1 is optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, such allyl, or such aryl; R2 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, or halogen; each of R3 and R4 is optionally substituted alkyl, such aralkyl, or such aryl; m is 2-6; and n is 0 or 1. This hydrazo compound has extremely excellent performance as the photoconductor of the electrophotographic sensitive body, and especially in case of using it as a charge transfer medium, a photosensitive body has especially high sensitivity and superior durability. |
