ORGANIC ELECTROLYTE CELL CONTAINING COMPLEX ELECTRODE

PURPOSE:To obtain an insoluble and infusible substrate metal not generating cracks at the time of heat treatment by using a molded body obtained by adding nearly spherical phenol resin to a phenol resin matrix for a positive electrode or a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:Nearly spherical phenol resin is added and dispersed in a phenol resin matrix. This complex is heat-treated in the nonoxidizing atmosphere. A molded body made of an insoluble and infusible substrate thus obtained with a polyacene skeleton structure having the atomicity ratio between the hydrogen atom and carbon atom of 0.05-0.5 and the specific surface value by the BET method of at least 600m<2>/g is used for a positive electrode or a negative electrode. On the other hand, a solution containing an electrolyte generating ions doped on an electrode by electrolysis and a nonproton organic solvent is used for the electrolyte. An insoluble and infusible substrate electrode not generating cracks at the time of heat treatment is thereby obtained, a secondary cell with a high capacity is obtained.
