<p>PURPOSE:To reject no expensive super hard abrasive grain together with an abrasive in its unusing state by providing an abrasive layer containing a super hard abrasive grain on the end face of an abrasive layer support body and in an uniform thickness along the curved face in the range of 0.5 - 2.0mm. CONSTITUTION:After forming the end face of a support body 1 in a desired curved face with its work processing in advance, an abrasive layer 2 in an uniform thickness is formed along this curved face in the range of 0.5 - 2.0mm containing a super hard abrasive grain on the curved face thereof. Consequently, the finishing for the grinding action face 3 of after sintering becomes unnecessary, the manufacturing process of the abrasive can be shortened and a useless consumption at the grinding shaping time of the abrasive layer 2 containing an expensive super hard abrasive grain and at the service life coming time is eliminated.</p> |
