PURPOSE:To realize highly reliable electromagnetic detection or prediction of the abrasion of bearing in an AC electric rotating machine and to facilitate removal and replacement of detection coil. CONSTITUTION:Three film substrate detection coils A formed on a film substrate are mounted, with an interval of 120 deg., on the air gap side opposing to the rotor 36 in a stator 10 of a canned motor pump. Output terminals 22-32 are connected in series and an AC voltmeter 34 for indicating the series connected combined output voltage of the detection coils is connected between the output terminals 22, 32. The film substrate detecting coils A mounted oppositely to the air gap side can detect imbalanced state of flux in an actual air gap part. Since the detection coils A can be mounted after fabrication and insulation treatment of the stator, additional provision, replacement and modification of the bearing abrasion detector are facilitated. |
