SEALING MATERIAL AND CUTTING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of an equipment and the adjusting of the equipment and the adjusting of a laser output without resulting in the increasing of the weight of sealing material by irradiating the sealing material in which a material through which a laser beam is allowed to pass is used as a separator with a laser beam. SOLUTION: Sealing base material 3 is cut together with adhesive material 2 by irradiating the sealing material constituted by sticking the sealing base material 3 to a separator 1 made of material through which a laser beam 9 passes with adhesive material 2 with the laser beam 9. Consequently, the sealing material 3 with the adhesive material 2 which absorbes energy of the laser beam 9 is cut into shapes having required sizes without cutting the separator 1 and strippable seals being in a state in which the seals are stuck to the separator 1 are produced. That is, the cutting of only seals is made possible with a simple control and without a delicate adjustment and also the increasing of the weight of the sealing material of its own is prevented by making the material of the separator 1 to be material through which the laser 9 passes.
