PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer fuel cell power generation system reducing heat capacity required for a steam generator, and recovering heat efficiently without adversely affecting on a reaction in the system. SOLUTION: A solid polymer fuel cell power generation system S is provided with a steam generator 70 generating steam by heating water, a reformer 3 generating reformed gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide from steam and fuel, a carbon monoxide converter 4 converting carbon monoxide contained in the reformed gas, a carbon monoxide remover 5 removing carbon monoxide not converted yet, and a fuel cell main body 6 generating electric power by reacting hydrogen after carbon monoxide is removed from it with oxygen contained in the air. The solid polymer fuel cell power generation system S is constituted such that a first heat exchanger for heat recovery H1 and a second heat exchanger for heat recovery H2 are connected between the reformer 3 and the carbon monoxide converter 4, a water pipe 66 is introduced into the first heat exchange for heat recovery H1 and the second heat exchanger for heat recovery H2 to recover heat from the reformed gas introduced into the carbon monoxide converter 4, to increase temperature of water in the water pipe 66, and to supply the water to the steam generator 70. |
