A displaying method of a color visual equalizer is provided to allow a user to efficiently and easily recognize various types of information on a record medium by setting a color corresponding to a storage type and a sector address and displaying a level meter corresponding to the current data processing speed through a color visual equalizer. Record medium information and data process information are respectively detected. A color value corresponding to the record medium information is set(S13), and a level meter size corresponding to the data process information is set. A color visual equalizer corresponding to the set color value and level meter size is displayed(S15). The record medium information has a storage type and a sector address, and the data process information has current data processing speed.
