Provided are a coating agent giving a coating film which has superior adhesion even to polyolefin resin base materials that have not been subjected to preliminary surface treatment and which has satisfactory adhesion even to high-polarity base materials; a decorative film having at least one layer formed from said coating agent; an article decorated with said decorative film. The coating agent includes an olefin polymer having a heat of fusion in the range of 0 to 50 J/g and having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by GPC of 1×104 to 1000×104, and a hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a 40° C. kinematic viscosity of 30 to 500,000 cSt. |

A coating agent comprising an olefin polymer (A) having a heat of fusion as measured in accordance with JIS K 7122 being in the range of 0 to 50 J/g and having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by GPC of 1×104 to 1000×104, and a hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil (B) having a 40° C. kinematic viscosity of 1250 to 500,000 cSt,
wherein the olefin polymer (A) is at least one selected from the group consisting of (A1″) to (A3″): (A1″) a propylene-based polymer containing 50 to 100 mol % of structural units derived from propylene and 50 to 0 mol % of structural units derived from α-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms excluding propylene (provided that the total of propylene and the structural units derived from α-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms is 100 mol %); (A2″) a modified olefin polymer obtained from a propylene-based polymer part or whole of which is graft-modified with a polar group-containing monomer, the propylene-based polymer containing 50 to 100 mol % of structural units derived from propylene and 50 to 0 mol % of structural units derived from α-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms excluding propylene (provided that the total of propylene and the structural units derived from α-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms is 100 mol %), wherein based on 100 parts by weight of the modified olefin polymer, 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of structural units derived from the polar group-containing monomer is contained; and (A3″) a halogen-modified olefin polymer obtained from a propylene-based polymer part or whole of which is halogen-modified, the propylene-based polymer containing 50 to 100 mol % of structural units derived from propylene and 50 to 0 mol % of structural units derived from α-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms excluding propylene (provided that the total of propylene and the structural units derived from α-olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms is 100 mol %), wherein based on 100 parts by weight of the halogen-modified olefin polymer, the halogen content is 2 to 40 parts by weight. |
