PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving on-ice brake performance of tires.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 comprises, on a tread surface thereof, a land part 33 having a plurality of blocks 5. Each of the blocks 5 comprises, on a ground contact face thereof, a plurality of shallow hairline grooves 7, and a plurality of recesses 8 disposed apart from the shallow hairline grooves 7. Each of the shallow hairline grooves 7 has a groove width of between 0.2 mm and 0.7 mm and a groove depth of between 0.2 mm and 0.7 mm.
