PURPOSE: To obtain a food or feed containing an antioxidant extracted from Elaeis guineensis of the family Palmae and containing α-tocotrienol, etc., effectively prevented in deterioration of quality due to oxidation and excellent in taste and flavor. CONSTITUTION: This food or feed contains preferably 0.0005-0.1wt.% antioxidant, extracted from Elaeis guineensis of the family Palmae, containing preferably 10-30wt.% α-tocotrienol, preferably 15-40wt.% γ-tocotrienol, preferably 5-15wt.% δ-tocotrienol and preferably 10-30wt.% α-tocophenol. |
