PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular automatic transmission constructed to have a torque converter with a lock-up clutch and a transmission part in which a deceleration at the time of deceleration travel associated with a fuel cut can be preferably controlled.SOLUTION: When an alternator load torque Talt is larger than a threshold α, a lock-up clutch 35 is released and it is possible to restrict that a deceleration degree G becomes excessive due to an alternator load torque Talt. In addition, the threshold α is changed in response to a transmission gear ratio γ of a stepless speed change gear 26, thereby it is possible to preferably control the deceleration degree G while limiting the deceleration degree G to a prescribed range. For example, under a vehicle state in which the transmission gear ratio γ is low and the deceleration is hardly attained, the threshold α becomes high, resulting in that the lock-up clutch 35 is hardly released and the deceleration degree G can be easily assured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
