In an example a polyurethane is obtained by reacting naphthylene diisocyanate with a glycol adipic acid polyester (OH number 56) and reacting the product with ethyl N,N-bishydroxyethyl carbamate. Polyurethanes may also be obtained from a polyol-polyisocyanate reaction mixture comprising a polyol of the above formula obtained by a particular method of preparation (see Division C2).
