ENGINE HAVING WATER INJECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatically supply water to a water tank in which water to be supplied to an intake passage is stored in injecting and supplying water to an intake passage connected to an engine main body for suppressing generation of knocking. CONSTITUTION:A water injection valve 8 which injects and supply water inside an intake passage 4 according to an operation condition of an engine main body 1 is arranged in the intake passage 4. A water-cooling intercooler 33 is arranged in an exhaust passage 8 for cooling exhaust gas thereinside. A water recovery tank 43 is arranged on an downstream side of the water-cooling intercooler 33 inside the exhaust passage 8, for storing water generated inside the exhaust passage 8. A communication passage is provided for supplying the water stored in the water recovery tank 43 to the water injection valve 18.
