PURPOSE:To previously prevent the titled device from printing operation causing troubles by detecting the insertion of cut paper of which size is different from the size of paper to be used for printing and discharging the inserted paper. CONSTITUTION:Respective optical switches 204-206 are arranged inside by 5mm. from the width of paper of size B5, B4 and B3 respectively. The paper of size B5 is detected by the optical switch 204 and, in the same manner, B4 and B3 are detected by the optical switches 204, 205 and 204-206 respectively. When deciding that the size of the paper is different from the specified size from a detecting signal through a printer CE307, a CPU301 outputs a driving motor reversing command through the printer CE to reverse the driving motor. Consequently the once clamped paper 209 is discharged from an inlet by a driving roller and a pressure roller 208 reversed by the reversion of the driving motor. |
