Flippers which are to be attached to the arms of the swimmer are combined with shoes which are connected to the flippers by a cord. The flippers may be designed as buoyancy bodies and take the form of oval discoid bodies each of which has on one side the recess for the hand and on the other side the attachment for the cord.
