A vehicle brake system is proposed in which a brake force distribution is applied which is dependent on the vehicle load, on the deceleration and on the position of the centre of gravity. The deceleration and the position of the centre of gravity are determined as electrical signals which are entered into an electronic switching device (22) and evaluated there. In this process, they are compared with a potentiometer signal derived from the pedal actuation. With the result obtained, the vehicle brake is then electrically driven. In this way, it is possible to obtain and to implement an ideal braking force ratio. The formation of the ratio takes place without delay and is not falsified since no response levels and friction forces are produced. The vehicle brake system is particularly suitable for utility vehicles. <IMAGE> |
