<p>PURPOSE:To start from any optional position and to end at an optional position for hot welding by a method in which a press roll is provided with the function of sending rolls, a heater bar is allowed to freely expand, and a hot welder is allowed to attach to or detach from the material film. CONSTITUTION:A heater bar 4, which has a function to a heat the portion to be heat-melted of a material film F to a semi-molten state, is lightly contacted with the film F by a coil spring 11. A press roll 5 having the function of sending rolls is processed to an extent that no slip occurs between it and the film F. When the portion to be heat-melted of the film F is held by the bar 4, and the hot welder is guided by the bar 4 and advanced in a straight way to heat and melt the film F. When the bar 4 is expanded, only the press roll 5 comes into contact with the film F and the guiding function of the bar 4 is lost. The direction of the hot welder to the film F is then varied and its advancing direction is changed.</p> |
